Annual Passholder Perks
Annual Passholders receive some great perks at Walt Disney World. They include special merchandise discounts and fun effects as they scan their MagicBand when they arrive to the parks. This year, many lucky Annual Passholders were able to preview Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind before it opened up for regular guests.
Other recent benefits for Passholders include a room discount and increased merchandise discount for a limited time.
Magnets
Perhaps a favorite benefit of being a Passholder are the magnets! These are fun little decorations for refrigerator, vehicle, or any other magnetic surface.
In celebration of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, Annual Passholders were able to receive an EAR-idescent Mickey & Minnie magnet as well as an Orange Bird magnet. The magnets were only available at Disney Springs and a virtual queue was required in order to pick it up.

One of the complaints from Annual Passholders is that the magnets have not been mailed to them like in previous years past. The latest magnets have only been available at Disney Springs, so unless you are local, the only way of grabbing a magnet is if you make a trip!
New Magnet
Disney has heard our cries (and probably have an abundant supply of magnets). Disney shares that another magnet will be mailed to pass holder’s homes this fall. There is no indication of WHO will be on the magnet, so it could be a completely new one or it could be a repeat of Mickey and Minnie or Orange Bird.
Be sure your mailing address is up to date! You can do this by following these steps:
- Tap the Feature menu (three lines) on the bottom right of the MDE app.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select My Profile.
- Tap Account Settings and review all contact information is up to date.

I just received AP magnets yesterday. They were the standard Mickey one - basically the yellow version of the 50th iridescent one.
