This newly reimagined show is called Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond. Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond picks up after Finding Dory and is told through the eyes of the “Tank Gang.” The show features many of the same amazing songs and amazing puppetry we have come to love about the original show.

We also know we will see many characters from the film that we know and love, like Crush, Dory, and of course, Nemo. Be sure to check out a sneak peek of this unbelievable show HERE.

Previously, Disney has allowed guests to enjoy soft openings of select attractions, entertainment, and even dining experiences. These soft openings are typically a couple of days in advance. Late last week, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond welcomed guests into the “Big Blue World” a couple of days early.

Unfortunately, we are just a few days into the newly reimagined show and Disney is already canceling a few performances. Today, June 14, the 10:30 am show was canceled. Additionally the 4:30 pm is also canceled. That is in approximately one hour for those of you in Animal Kingdom and hoping to catch the last show of the day!

Don’t fret! It appears that regular showtimes return tomorrow, June 15! Regular performance times are as follows:

  • 10:30 am
  • 11:30 am
  • 12:30 pm
  • 2:30 pm
  • 3:30 pm
  • 4:30 pm

Be sure to check the entertainment schedule frequently throughout your vacation. Unfortunately, incidents can happen which forces shows, character meets, and even attractions to not run as normal.
