We now have a Rumored Opening Date for Connections Cafe and Eatery at EPCOT

EPCOT has been in a state of progression over the past year, as old things were removed and new ones were created. We now have an opening timeline for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. With Cast Member previews we are hearing rave reviews of this exciting new coaster.

EPCOT will soon open the Connections Cafe & Eatery. Many Guests greatly anticipate the opening of Connections Cafe & Eatery, while Walt Disney World has failed to release an opening date.

Opening Date for Connections Cafe & Eatery

Previously, Walt Disney World has simply shared that Connections Cafe & Eatery would open in Spring of 2022. As the days have counted down and the temperatures rise as we head to the summer months, many Guests wondered when this new eatery would open.

Earlier, we shared that the Connections Cafe will house Epcot’s new Starbucks location. This exciting news also came with the announcement that the Starbucks Traveler’s Cafe location in EPCOT would be closing.

Earlier this week, the Starbucks Traveler’s Cafe was closed. We were had originally thought this would close with the opening of Connections Cafe, but still no opening date was announced.

NOTE: This location has soft opened today, April 21 for Cast Member training purposes. There is no guarantee if it will be available consistently before the official opening, but it would pay to check! – KtP

Today, we were provided with a credible rumor that Connections Cafe & Eatery will be opening this Sunday, April 24th. This rumor seems plausible with the closing of the Starbucks Traveler’s Cafe and with reports that filming is taking place at Connections Cafe & Eatery this morning. This is great news for Guests visiting EPCOT!
