Cosmic Rewind
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the newest attraction to open in EPCOT. With an official opening date of May 27, 2022, there is so much information regarding this new attraction. This is what we know so far:
This is truly an awesome experience from the immersive queue, wonderfully themed Cast Member costumes, attraction touch points, and you can even check out the villain of this new attraction HERE.
Preview Dates
Currently, previews are well underway for Disney Vacation Club members, Annual Passholders, and a special ticketed event for D23 members. This all leads up to the opening of this attraction to all Guests on May 27, 2022.
Guests that have a valid preview admission added to their My Disney Expereince account may enter the queue for Cosmic Rewind. We have seen somewhat long lines for this attraction even with these previews. Cast Members have installed umbrellas for the queue of Cosmic Rewind.
As a reminder, Cosmic Rewind will not offer a traditional queue when it opens on May 27th. Read more about this HERE.
On Ride Photo
Check out our very own Kenny the Pirate on Cosmic Rewind. This attraction offers an on-ride photo that is so cool! Read all about this attraction photo HERE.
Outside the entrance to this attraction, guests can also have photos taken by a PhotoPass photographer. Guests may purchase or download these photos with the purchase of the Memory Maker.
There are also two fun MagicShots at this location. The first features the Starship and Spaceship Earth in the background with a really cool border for this photo.
The second MagicShot is a favorite. “I am Groot!” We love this special Groot MagicShot. Currently, the Wonders of Xandar retail location is closed. Cast Members shared that this will open to guests on May 27, 2022.
