EPCOT’s New Dining Location

Last week we shared that the official opening date for Connections Cafe and Eatery is today, April 27th. To many guests’ delight, Connections Cafe & Eatery welcomed Guests for a soft opening this past weekend.
So what is the one dish that you really need to try at this new dining location?
Dish You Have to Try
The Creations Cafe & Eatery sits just outside of Creations Shop. The overall modern vibe is spacious yet welcoming. When I visited, there were many guests, but this large space didn’t seem crowded or congested. I was easily able to place and receive my order.
Since the menu was first announced, I knew I had to try the Liege Waffle. This decadent dessert is made with brioche yeast dough stuffed with pearl sugar and finished with some tasty toppings. Doesn’t that just sound like delicious? The presentation of this dish was perfection, but the true test is in the tasting.
Although this dish appears small, it is absolutely delicious and filling. The waffle was perfectly cooked without being too flimsy or too tough. The pearl sugar inside the waffle truly takes this dish to the next level. I initially tried the waffle by itself and this was delicious.
For my next bite, I added a fresh strawberry, a bit of the whipped cream and it was a flavor explosion. At first, I sampled this dish out of curiosity. I ate every bite of this dish because it was simply that good.
This is a bold claim, but I would say that this Liege Waffle may be the best waffle on Disney property.
