Times are always subject to change in Walt Disney World. Here is an update for a fan-favorite show!
Showtimes Subject to Change
When planning for Walt Disney World, it is best to check and double-check the showtimes for any of the shows you plan to see. This is because now and then what you see listed changes. I imagine arriving at 3:00 for a show that started at 2:30 would not be a magical experience, especially in the heat of the day when everyone in your party is aching for a break from walking.
For example, A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King over in Animal Kingdom has seen several adjustments to its showtime schedule since its reopening. You can read the latest one right over here.
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular
The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular in Hollywood Studios reopened to guests December 19th. This show had been closed since the Park closure in 2020.
Guests were excited to enjoy this show once again even with a few changes that have been made to the pre-pandemic version of the show. If you are familiar with the old show, you can check out these changes HERE. If you have never seen it, you will be able to enjoy it with no comparisons.
An Adjustment to the Show Schedule
The schedule for showings of the Indian Jones Stunt Spectacular has been in flux lately. Last month, there were showtimes listed for: 10:45am, 12:00pm, 1:15pm, 3:15pm, and 6:30pm.
However, these times have changed for every date on the calendar for the foreseeable future. The showtimes that are listed as of today (March 28, 2022) are 10:45 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:15 PM, 3:15 PM, and 4:30 PM.
This means that the 6:30 PM showtime has shifted back to 4:30 for all data from now until late May regardless of the fact that some dates previously had the evening showtime. We shall see what the calendar reveals as it expands.
If you were planning on that evening time slot during your trip, you will need to make some adjustments to accommodate the change. Of course, these changes may change again in the future. However, your KtP team will let you know if any additional shifts occur.
In the meantime, remember to check the show schedules the day you embark on your journey just in case.
