Here is everything we know so far.
Possible Emergency
It appears there is a possible emergency situation taking place at Magic Kingdom today, March 3.
The location in question is the Cinderella Castle area. More specifically, Cinderella’s Royal Table may be the precise location of the emergency. Lights and alarms are going off, and law enforcement is on scene. Disney evacuated Guests from the castle, and the area is blocked off.
A possible emergency situation has caused Guests to evacuate Cinderella Castle.
The stage show “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire” stopped abruptly during a performance today. There was no warning or obvious situation unfolding, but the sudden cancelation may have been in response to the emergency situation at Cinderella Castle.
At this time we do not have a statement from Disney nor any information regarding the cause. We are unsure of any injuries inflicted on Guests and/or Cast Members.
Not the first emergency at Magic Kingdom
You may remember a few other times this has happened in recent months. Back in December, fire trucks rushed down Main Street due to a fire in the same location as today. Disney released a statement, sharing that there was indeed a fire at Magic Kingdom, but no one was hurt.
Just last month, a mechanical issue in a Space Mountain break room caused emergency crews to be dispatched to Magic Kingdom. Multiple attractions temporarily closed as a result.
Both of those situations seemed minor based off what we learned, and we are praying for the same result today. We will keep you updated as this is an ongoing situation.
