Disney has seemingly canceled nighttime shows for additional dates this week. Will the cancelations affect your trip?
Hollywood Studios Nighttime Shows
Nighttime is arguably the best time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The lands and attractions have a special magic as they light up against darkness.
Not only that, but Hollywood Studios plays host to excellent nighttime entertainment. In fact, we can’t wait for the full menu of options to be available again including the beloved show Fantasmic and the nightly fireworks.
Family Friendly Projection Shows
As it stands, Hollywood Studios also has two amazing shows that typically run nightly. These are both excellent shows enjoyed by guests of all ages.
One of these is Disney Movie Magic. According to the Disney website, guests can fall in love all over again with unforgettable characters and cherished stories. After the sun sets, a compilation of favorites flickers across the iconic façade of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre at the park.
The other is Wonderful World of Animation. This show, also projected on Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, explores 90 years of Disney/Pixar magic.
Last night, February 12, 2022, both of these shows were unexpectedly canceled. Guests missed out on Disney Movie Magic as well as Wonderful World of Animation.
And now, today, February 13, 2022, both shows are missing from the Hollywood Studios Schedule again. It also appears that the two shows are missing for February 14, 2022 as well!
The schedule includes Wonderful World of Animation for February 15, 2022-February 28, 2022. However, Disney Movie Magic is nowhere to be seen on the schedule.
There is no explanation so far for these missing shows. Perhaps it is an error and they will reappear on the schedule, but as it stands, it seems they will not be available.
Cancelations can be disappointing. We hope this news does not negatively impact your plans.
