Encanto is Disney’s newest film, and it is taking the world by storm!

Per Disney: Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto.

The magic of the Encanto blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal. Except Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz) it seemed. However, she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger. Then, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might be her family’s last hope.

You can catch Encanto streaming on Disney+. Disney shared the film is now streaming in 21 languages. The soundtrack has even set several Billboard records!

Post Credits Scene

I don’t know about you, but the first time I watched Encanto, I eagerly sat through the credits, waiting for the post-credit scene. I figured a film this amazing was going to have some spectacular surprise waiting at the end for me!

I was pretty disappointed when I turned out to be wrong and no scene played. However, did you know there was originally a post-credit scene produced for the film?

Jared Bush, director and writer of Encanto, took to Twitter to share that there was a post-credit scene for the film, but they decided to scrap it. They decided they “ultimately felt going out on the emotion and joy of the family coming back together” was the way they wanted the film to end.

Have a look at the post-credit scene below.
