Harry Potter fans will want to take note: a popular attraction is currently experiencing a multi-day closure. This would surely wreck plans for those wanting to experience it!
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
One of the top bucket list items for any Harry Potter fan is to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. The themed area spans two different theme parks: Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Be transported to the film franchise with attractions, food, and other amazing experiences.
Attractions include Escape from Gringotts, Hogwars Express – Kings Cross Station, Olivanders, Flight of the Hippogriff, Forbidden Journey, Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure, and Hogwarts Express – Hogsmeade.
Shows include Frog Choir, Olivanders, Triwizard Spirit Rally, Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees, Gringotts Money Exchange, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
Be sure to subscribe to Character Locator to help you plan your visit to Universal Orlando!
The Hogwarts Express allows Guests to travel from park to park. Since the Wizarding World of Harry Potter spans across the two theme parks, this allows travel to occur more efficiently. Plus, it provides another unique Harry Potter experience!
According to Universal, Travel between King’s Cross Station in the London area of Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade™ Station in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Each way is a different experience. From the thrill of walking through Platform 9 ¾™ to seeing characters and creatures featured in the films, this is not your everyday train ride.
Unfortunately for those wanting to ride on Hogwarts Express, the train has been closed for three straight days. This will make the travel experience from Universal Studios to Islands of Adventure not nearly as before.
Hogwarts Express is closed for the third day in a row.
It’s worth noting the train is not currently listed on the refurbishment schedule, so we are not exactly sure why the attraction is closed. Perhaps there is a mechanical or technical issue that needs resolved.
What do you think about this closure? Will it affect your travel plans at all?
