Today marks the beginning of the Festival of the Arts in EPCOT. Guests are excited to enjoy the new offerings at this festival. Surprisingly, the longest line is for a piece of merchandise. Check out the current line and what Guests are wanting to purchase.
Festival of the Arts
The International Festival of the Arts at EPCOT begins January 14, 2022 and runs through February 21, 2022. This festival has just a little bit of everything, including, art, food menus and entertainment.
Guests will also want to be sure to check out other colorful cuisineoffered, and you don’t want to miss the return of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series! For a full lineup of the artists performing, check out this post HERE.
There is so much to do and art to enjoy at this great festival, but currently many of the Guests are not enjoying the festival offerings but are in line for one piece of merchandise.
Figment of our Imagination
Guests were overjoyed to see the new popcorn bucket that would be available for the Festival of the Arts. When we first shared the image of the Figment popcorn bucket, Crew members couldn’t get enough of it.
Yesterday we shared the surprising cost increase for this coveted popcorn bucket, and still Guests are ready to jump in line with cash in hand. Today the longest line in EPCOT will not be for an attraction but for the Figment popcorn bucket.
Check out the current wait in EPCOT for the Figment popcorn bucket:
Based upon this current line it appears that the current line for this popcorn bucket is 1/3 of a mile. Would you wait that long to bring home a Figment popcorn bucket?
Walt Disney World signage shows that these Figment popcorn buckets will be limited for 2 per person. Unfortunately, it appears that some Guests are finding clever ways around this rule.
Today the longest line in EPCOT will not be for an attraction but for the Figment popcorn bucket.
Prices online for Figment popcorn buckets are quite high already. This reminds me (Donna) of the expression, “This is why we can’t have nice things.”
We are hoping that there will be ample Figment popcorn buckets available throughout the Festival of the Arts and that this craziness will soon subside.
What do you think of the line for this Figment popcorn bucket? Would you be willing to wait in it? How much would you be willing to pay online to bring Figment home? Share your thoughts with us on our Facebook Page.
