Transportation Delays are Expected Throughout Disney World on Select Dates

Guests often ask questions regarding transportation around Walt Disney World. There are a few dates that will have delays in transportation for Guests visiting Walt Disney World. Check out the dates and how they may affect your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World.

Transportation around Walt Disney World is a bit complicated at times. Many Guests wonder if it is quicker to drive themselves or to use Disney transportation.

There are many differing opinions largely depending upon which Disney Resort you are staying at and also which Park you will be visiting. The Walt Disney World Resort is HUGE and many questions revolve around what is the quickest mode of transportation to arrive to each Park. 

From the skylinerbusesferry boats, and of course the monorail there are many options for Resort Guests to arrive at each of the Walt Disney World Parks.

Walt Disney World is beginning to fill with registrants who are prepared to lace up their running shoes for Disney’s Marathon Weekend. Runners are so excited that runDisney is now offering in-person events.

Guests visiting Walt Disney World this Saturday, January 8th and Sunday, January 9th will experience transportation delays from 4:00am until 9:00am.

Guests visiting Walt Disney World this Saturday, January 8th and Sunday, January 9th will experience transportation delays whether driving or utilizing the Disney Bus transportation service. This will affect Guests traveling from 4:00am until 9:00am.

Also in February, runners will arrive for the Princess Half-Marathon Weekend. On February 27, 2022, Guests can expect transportation delays from 4:00am to 9:00am due to road closures for this event.

This will affect Guests on bus transportation and those Guests who are driving into the Parks. Guests will not be affected who are utilizing the monorail, skyline or water transportation. If you will be driving or using the bus transportation on these dates, be sure to allow additional travel time.
