Disney World continues to open hotels, restaurants, and more amenities. See the latest dining location to reopen right here.
Shows, Restaurants, and Hotels Reopening
If June was the month Disney relaxed most health and safety protocols, July is the month of announcing reopenings!
First, All Stars Music, All Star Sports, Port Orleans Riverside, and Port Orleans French Quarter all have reopening dates! All Disney World resorts will be reopened by the end of 2021.
Second, many shows and attractions have plans to reopen in the coming weeks. Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, Turtle Talk with Crush, and Hollywood Studios nighttime entertainment all return soon!
Finally, we just shared the great news that Cheshire Cafe is reopening soon – with a new menu! Now, there’s another nearby location with plans to serve Guests once again.
Prince Eric’s Village Market
Located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom, Prince Eric’s Village Market offers snacks like turkey legs, pretzels, and slushies!
This location has been closed since the parks shut down last year. Now that crowds are the highest they have been in this initial reopening phase, more dining options are definitely needed.
Beginning Monday, July 26 this spot will serve Guests from 11 am to 6 pm! Grab those snacks after a trip on Under the Sea ~ Voyage fo the Little Mermaid!
As more dining locations and restaurants reopen, hopefully that means we are closer to the return of the Disney Dining Plan. All Disney has shared so far is that it will be returning soon and details will be forthcoming. I believe that Disney is waiting for all of the restaurants to reopen before offering the DDP again.
Disney World is celebrating 50 magical years in October, and I believe almost everything will be back to normal before then. We will have Early Theme Park Entry and extended nighttime hours to look forward, and hopefully we will have FastPass again soon!
