Maleficent the Dragon and Other Event Offerings at Boo Bash

For a stress-free Disney or Universal Studios vacation, let the FREE expert planners at Royal Carriage Vacations take care of every detail including dining reservations, applying discounts, and onboard cruise credit.

More details have been released for Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash events! The price is a bit steep. Will the offerings make the price worth it? Check out what all is included and let us know what you think.

Boo Bash

Despite the fact that Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is canceled for 2021, Disney is still celebrating all things spooky with After Hours Boo Bash. Like the Halloween party, Boo Bash will take place on select nights in August, September, and October. You can read all about the difference between MNSSHP and Boo Bash HERE.

Event dates and pricing details were just released this morning. Prices range anywhere from $129 to $199! While After Hours events are known to be very exclusive, this is more than Halloween party and After Hours events pricing in the past. Check out all event dates and ticket details HERE.

Event Offerings

What all is included in Boo Bash? Yes, there will be very low wait times, and you can enter the park as early as 7 pm! But, would you pay up to $200 for the following?

Spooky cavalcades will pop up throughout the event, including Nightmare Before Christmas, villains, and Mickey and friends. These all sound very similar to what we saw last year during normal park hours. Maleficent the dragon, which is commonly seen during the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Villains After Hours events, will also appear during the event. She has not been seen in the parks since before the pandemic.

Special characters will also be out and about lurking around Magic Kingdom. Miss Carlotta will be at the Haunted Mansion attraction, and Chip & Dale will also be in their Halloween best. Other characters will be around, and you can even hear from Cadaver Dans!

Food and Photos

Free (but not really free when you are paying for event admission) snacks will also be available, including popcorn, ice cream novelties, and beverages. This is very much in line with what we used to see at regular After Hours events.

A variety of specialty food and drinks will be available for purchase including an Apple Ginger Dale frozen drink (frozen apple cider mixed with ginger ale and topped with whipped cream) and a Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake.

Finally, PhotoPass photographers will be around to take your magically spooky shots throughout the evening.

Do you think all these offerings justify the price of After Hours Boo Bash? Will you be attending this year? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook!
