One Magic Kingdom attraction appears to be having issues. As a result, it has not opened yet. See the statement from the Vice President of the park.
Peter Pan’s Flight
Peter Pan’s Flight is a long-time favorite attraction at Magic Kingdom. Enter the Darling’s home, over London, and on to Neverland where adventure awaits. The queue is one of my favorites because of the interactive elements.
This is one of the attractions I try to experience as early as possible in the day. This ride is extremely popular and waits can stretch up to an hour on busy days.
Statement from the Vice President of Magic Kingdom
Guests visiting Magic Kingdom today received a push notification on the My Disney Experience app. It reads:
Pardon the Incovenience
On behalf of the entire team at the Magic Kingdom park, I’d like to apologize that Peter Pan’s Flight is currently unavailable. Our Cast Members are working diligently to get the attraction up and running again, and we are sorry you are not able to experience this attraction at this time. I hope you will enjoy some of our other attractions during your experience in the park today.

It’s unclear what the issue is with Peter Pan’s Flight or if it will be back up today. Hopefully Guests can climb aboard the pirate galleon by tomorrow!
Space Mountain
You may remember a similar statement was pushed out for Space Mountain. Earlier last month, Space Mountain experienced extended downtime resulting in the ride not being able to open for the day.

It’s not uncommon for rides to experience temporary closures, but this kind of extended downtime is a bit more rare.

We were at Magic Kingdom this past Tues (2/2). The ride was open then, but shut down while we were on it right over the boat with the battle scene between Peter and Hook. We were left stranded for about 5 minutes. Guess it is still having issues.
