Disney Springs Incident
According to various reports on social media, an accident involving an Orange County Sheriff’s vehicle happened in Disney Springs yesterday.
The vehicle went off road and landed in an almost-vertical position in front of a garage at Disney Springs. TikTok user aidan.anchaya captured the incident on video. There are a few security guards of some other type of law enforcement officers standing near the vehicle. It’s unclear if one of those people was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Twitter user @yakthequack was able to capture a video of several Orange County Sheriff vehicles surrounding the vehicle that went off road.
He then shared a photo of the vehicle, seen below.
Another twitter user, @disneyfan714 shared a few other angles of the incident. It doesn’t look like the incident was too serious as there were no ambulances or fire trucks at the scene that we could see in the photos or video.
Looking at the time stamps on Twitter, it appears as if the incident took place around 6:00 pm local time on January 16, 2021.
We do hope no one was injured and that the person in the vehicle was able to get out safely. We do not have any additional information regarding injuries. At the time of publication, Orange County Sheriff’s Office has not posted any update about the incident on Facebook or Twitter.
