Altercation at Disney World
Last week, a hip hop singer was arrested at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Per reports, authorities state that a hip-hop star who goes by Spectacular Smith was walking toward a ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As he entered the ride line, he made a sneezing gesture and said “coronavirus.”
Then, a Disney World Cast Member told authorities he told Smith that his action was not funny. In response, Smith allegedly replied that he thought it was funny.
The Disney World Cast Member asked him to leave the line twice, but he refused. Then, the cast member attempted to block him from going forward in the line. According to the affidavit, the guest “turned and punched him on his right side jaw and right temple area.”
After being punched, the Disney Cast Member told police that he stumbled and fell according to an affidavit. The affidavit also states that the Cast Member “was in shock and thought he might’ve lost consciousness.” He was taken to the Horizon West Hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion after having a CT scan, per the affidavit.
He was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor battery charge.
Spectacular Blue Smith’s Response
According to USA Today, the singer responded on his Instagram stories. “The media will put out a one sided story even without facts, because they enjoy demonizing our culture and bring us down. It’s sad,” he wrote. “There’s 2 sides to every story and since this story is bigger than me and the color of my skin, I’ll wait till my attorney gives the green light. Thanks for your support. Love… Ps: Y’all know my character.”

Spectacular Smith
According to reports from TMZ, Smith is banned from entering all Disney Theme Parks in Florida following the incident. That same reports says this ban has taken effect immediately. TMZ has reached out to Smith for comment, but Smith has not responded.

Of course he should be banned! It's not a racist decision; it's one based on the fact that he punched a cast member trying to do his job. And he did it in front of his son and then the son lied about it as well. No excuse for the violence! Personally, I think he should be banned from ALL Disney parks, but whatever. If it were any other person besides a celebrity (who I've never heard of by the way), that person would have been banned and charged as well. He doesn't deserve any special treatment!

If you punch someone who is trying to do their job, I don’t care what color your skin is, you absolutely deserve to be banned from parks and arrested.
In Disney parks, you follow cast member instructions. If you don’t like the way you were treated, you go to guest services, you don’t get physical.
