Sometimes tempers flare when guests visit Disney World. Also, children have meltdowns, adults argue with one another. But, there’s never a reason to be rude to a Disney Cast Member. One hip-hop and reality television person took things entirely too far!
What Happened
Per reports, authorities state that a hip-hop star who goes by Spectacular Blue Smith was walking toward a ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As he entered the ride line, he made a sneezing gesture and said “coronavirus.”
Then, a Disney World Cast Member told authorities he told Smith that his action was not funny. Also, Smith allegedly replied that he thought it was funny.
The Disney World Cast Member asked him to leave the line twice, but he refused. Then, the cast member attempted to block him from going forward in the line. According to the affidavit, the guest “turned and punched him on his right side jaw and right temple area.”
After being punched, the Disney Cast Member told police that he stumbled and fell according to an affidavit. The affidavit also states that the Cast Member “was in shock and thought he might’ve lost consciousness.” He was taken to the Horizon West Hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion after having a CT scan, per the affidavit.
Who Was Arrested
Two theme park guests witnessed the event. According to their eye witness testimony, they saw him punch the Disney Cast Member.
A hip-hop and reality television personality, Spectacular Blue Smith, is facing assault charges after punching a Disney World Cast Member.
Smith’s son told the police that his dad accidently hit the employee after losing his balance. However, Smith was arrested after the incident and faces battery charges for the alleged assault. However, since then, Smith has posted bond.

What a jerk! And then his kid allegedly lying about the incident to protect his dad?! Not setting a very good example for his child! I'm sorry the cast member was hurt and I'm glad there were witnesses to corroborate his story. No excuse for that kind of behavior, especially at Disney!
