Reopening of Animal Kingdom
We were given a unique viewpoint as the Disney’s Animal Kingdom reopened. Some of the Animal Kingdom’s residents greeted Guests with signs and tasty treats. See all of these great reopening photos HERE.
Prior to the reopening of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Dr. Mark took us on a personal tour around Animal Kingdom. Dr. Mark shared that even while the Disney Parks were closed, Cast Members continued to diligently care for each of the animals residing across the Disney Park properties.
Throughout this tour we saw Meerkats, Gorillas, Hyenas, and even more beautiful animals. Even while we weren’t able to visit the Disney Parks it was great to see a few of our favorite animals.
Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom
“Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom” will premiere on Disney+ on Friday, September 25th. This series was produced by National Geographic and will give the viewer an all-access pass into the day to day operations in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT.

You can now enjoy the Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom at home with the My Disney Experience App. Featured on the app today you can view“Disney Parks Wild Sights.” This is a short-form video mini-series that showcases a few of the amazing animal and the Cast Members who care for them.
Not only can you view amazing videos of animals, but you also have the option to click to learn more interesting facts about the featured animals. This is a such a fun, educational tool for future zoologists to gain more information about a few of their favorite animals.
Head to the My Disney Experience App to view the Debut Episode for this great new mini-series. In this episode and each following episode, you will meet a different animal, learn what makes them unique, and hear amazing stories from their keepers.
