Bay Lake Tower

Fireworks View

Bay Lake Tower is a DVC resort located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Boasting luxury accommodations and an excellent location (walking distance to Magic Kingdom), Bay Lake Tower is a great place to stay when you are visiting Mickey Mouse!

Studios, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom villas offer a home-like atmosphere to unwind after a long day in the parks. Full kitchens, spacious living and dining areas, washer and dryers, and separate bedrooms offer a very deluxe experience!

If the rooms aren’t enough to draw Guests in, maybe the recreation will! Enjoy Bay Cave Pool, the feature pool at Bay Lake Tower. The zero-depth entry overlooks Bay Lake – the views can’t be beat!

Incident at Bay Lake Tower

Unfortunately, an incident happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 6.

At 1:55 am, a Guest at Bay Lake Tower pulled the fire alarm. Allegedly, the room number the Guest was staying in was 7802.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after and arrested the man.

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest times of the year to visit Disney World. This year, Orlando was named one of the top travel destinations this weekend.

Park Pass availability is also completely booked up for this weekend.

The incident at Bay Lake Tower is unfortunate enough as it is. However, considering there are more people visiting Disney World this weekend, there are more Guests than usual staying at the resort.

Surely, this was scary for Guests staying at Bay Lake Tower at first and then an annoyance after realizing there was no harm.

I agree keep the property alcohol free. Maybe that will also stop the fights and rudeness

I'm sure Walt would agree.

NO ALCOHOL at WDW

The Parks closed between 7 pm and 9 pm — you blame alcohol sales in the parks for something that happened 4 to 6 hours later?

I enjoy a glass of wine as much as anyone. But, maybe they have to go back to no drinking. If people are going to do this.

SO agree! They keep adding alcohol to a place Walt wanted to be family-friendly. Wine festivals, beer gardens, etc. More like a carnival atmosphere.
