Did you know Pluto has his very own “hidden attraction” at Walt Disney World? What better way to celebrate everyone’s favorite pal on International Dog Day than to dig deep into this hidden gem?
Pluto…The Hidden Star
Dogs are man’s best friend. Certainly, even Mickey Mouse himself depends on his best pal, Pluto. This dog has won the hearts and minds of many and has rightfully earned the role as one of Disney’s “top dogs.”
Now, as a way of celebrating our pal, Disney Imagineer and designer, Zach Riddley, shared on Instagram a special tidbit about one of Disney’s latest attractions and its hidden Pluto story.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is one of the newest attractions on property. Moreover, with a March 4, 2020 opening date, many people have yet to experience this ride.
The attraction has a special surprise within its plot. According to Riddley, Pluto has his own “B-story” within the attraction. A “B-Story” is a parallel story-within-a-story that tracks along with the main plot.
Riddley shares:
“True to his loyalty, pluto is on his own adventure throughout the attraction trying to reunite mickey and minnie with their picnic basket so that they can have their perfect picnic.”

As someone who has yet to visit the parks since the reopening, I cannot wait to get to Hollywood Studios and experience Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway for myself.
It will be an added bonus to see how many times I can spot Pluto in his “attraction debut” as the lead in the “B-story” plot!
