Disney Parks across the world continue to remain closed due to COVID-19, but Disney Parks are still finding ways to spread a bit of Disney magic in our homes even during this time. Learn how you can enjoy a bit of Disney nighttime magic in your home with this final farewell to a Disney nighttime classic.

Fantasmic is a nighttime show that is presented in multiple Disney Parks including:

  • Walt Disney World at Hollywood Studios
  • Disneyland Park
  • Tokyo Disney Sea

Each park location offers a slightly different twist on this nighttime show, but it is equally magical no matter what time zone you may be viewing it in. Each show offers a match-up between Mickey and the Disney villains and includes fireworks, lights, lasers, decorated boats, and great Disney music.

Tokyo Disney’s Fantasmic

Tokyo Disney announced that the last showing of Fantasmic at their Disney Sea theme park would be on March 25, 2020. Unfortunately, the last viewing of this terrific nighttime show was unable to be presented. Tokyo Disney closed both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea theme parks on February 28, 2020 due to COVID-19.

Many Disney fans were disappointed that they may have missed their last opportunity to see this version of Fantasmic, but Disney Parks have now posted a full-length video of this nighttime spectacular for all Disney fans to be able to enjoy. Grab your popcorn and light-up Mickey ears to enjoy this with your family from the comfort of your home.

I have never had the opportunity to visit Tokyo Disney Sea park, but I was so excited to be able to view this beautiful version of one of my family’s favorite nighttime shows.

Future Nighttime Show

At this time, Tokyo Disney has not yet announced what will replace Fantasmic for a nighttime show. Please continue following Kenny the Pirate for information when official announcements have been made.

Which nighttime show do you think Tokyo Disney should use to replace Fantasmic? Do you like this version better than that offered at Disneyland or Disney World? We would love to hear your thoughts. Please share on our KtP Planning Crew page and on our Facebook page.
