There are just two more days until the opening of the highly anticipated new ride, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Just ahead of opening day, Disney has released on-ride photos, and you’re going to want to see this!
On Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, hop aboard the Runnamuck Railroad train where Goofy is your conductor (what could possibly go wrong?) and anything can happen because “mouse rules” apply!
When Mouse Rules apply, you can expect the wackiest of experiences when you follow Mickey and Minnie’s adventure on the Perfect Picnic.
The newest attraction will be the first ever themed after Mickey Mouse. This dark, trackless ride features unique 2 and 1/2D technology. It was designed to give depth to 2D environments for a 3D effect without glasses!
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in the Chinese Theater.
Disney has just released on-ride photos, and if you weren’t excited before, get ready, because this ride looks incredible!
To begin your ride experience, you’ll start by watching the cartoon short “Perfect Picnic.”
Goofy greets Minnie and Mickey, who ask him to take good care of their friends. What could possibly go wrong?
Uh oh! Looks like we’ll be traveling underwater for part of our adventure! Remember, “mouse rules” apply!
Looks like Mickey and Minnie finally found their “Perfect Picnic” spot, and of course, Pluto is there to join them.
It wouldn’t be a Mickey short without an encounter with Pete, and here he is with a jackhammer!
Finally, we get our first look at Chuuby (pronounced Choo-be), a new character that was created exclusively for this new attraction. Isn’t the newest orange bird so sweet?
Looks like we’ll be hitting up a carnival as well on our adventures!
Wow! They weren’t kidding when they said this ride would take you into a vibrant cartoon world. From these pictures, it does feel that we’ll be completely immersed in the cartoon!
As we get closer and closer to opening day, my excitement is growing! I can not wait for this one.
