Final Disney World Mobile Order Restaurant Added

I hate waiting in a queue to order my food at a Disney quick service restaurant.  If you are the same, then you can see the appeal of the Mobile Order option now available at most Disney World Quick Service locations.  Today, Disney added PizzeRizzo in Hollywood Studios to the Mobile Order list.  It’s the last location for mobile ordering that will be added for the time being.

The Mobile Order Service allows guests to use their My Disney Experience app to select participating restaurants, and order your meal even before arriving at the restaurant.  Guests pay for their food with a credit card when ordering.  When guests arrive at the restaurant, they use the app to let Castmembers know to prepare their food.  Instead of waiting in a queue to order, guests can then head straight to the Mobile Order section of the pick up counter.

Here is the current complete list of available Quick Service restaurants for Mobile Order.

Magic Kingdom

Columbia Harbor House – Located in Liberty Square, this is the place to get your seafood fix in Magic Kingdom.  The menu includes fried fish and shrimp, lobster rolls, and New England style clam chowder.  There are also vegetarian options, and plenty of kid friendly options as well.

Pinocchio Village Haus – This is a great spot to catch some more traditional options with an Italian flare. On this menu, you will find parmesan chicken pasta and sandwich options, and a good variety of flatbreads. Pinocchio Village Haus is in Fantasyland, beside It’s A Small World.

Epcot

Electric Umbrella – Here you will find assorted burgers, a flatbread pizza, and chicken nuggets. The Electric Umbrella is adjacent to the dancing fountains in Future World, across from the MouseGear gift shop.

Disney Springs

Mobile Order still has limitations

Remember that currently the only way to pay for a Mobile Order is with a credit card.  They are not currently taking the Disney Dining Plan for mobile orders.  Also guests cannot receive any Annual Passholder discount through Mobile Order for those Quick Service restaurants that allow for one.

Have you tried the new Mobile Order service yet while in Disney World?  What do you think?  It is a timesaver, or something not worth the effort it takes to execute?

  1. FOOD FAST PASS! We just used the mobile ordering app last week at MK, HS, and AK and it worked flawlessly. We had a group of 10, so finding tables at the resterant proved in some cases to be a challenge. We were able to find really nice outdoor areas adjacent to the resterant by fountains, lakes, or a ride like the mine train more easily. We sat there relaxing and taking in the sights while 2 in our party ordered. On two occasions we ate around 12:30 and walked past about 60-80 people in he regular line straight up to the clearly marked mobile app counter. We had our food and headed back to the table in about 5 minutes. I was not able to order ice water on the app, so when I gave the mobile app order number to the cast member at pick up, I requested it then.

  2. Was unable to use mobile ordering because they do not take DDP, but I do want to say that I loved the pizza and salad from pizzarizzo the best we are in Disney world by far for quick service

  3. Another limitation is you cannot do food allergy requests with the mobile ordering. With my dairy allergic son, we would never be able to do the express order for him so there’s no point in doing the mobile order for the rest of the family. And, honestly, until they get it where dining plan credits can be used, I don’t think we would use it anyway, even if the food allergy issue was no longer an issue.

  4. The mobile app works great for ordering ahead. The Disney app also gives you pop up alerts saying you are nearby a restaurant that has mobile ordering. I only noticed this the first time I walked by the restaurant during my 7 day stay. I have used it Pinocchio Village Haus, Pecos Bill Cafe, and Columbia Harbor House to order food. After pressing the “I’m here prepare my food” option, it took the workers about 10 minutes to prepare the food at each location with average crowds. The app was very good at alerting you the food was prepared and waiting for pickup. It was a very hassle free experience for me.

  5. We used it at Satu’li Canteen, and it worked extremely well. I was able to place the group’s order as we were walking towards the restaurant. By the time we got there, the food was ready. We skipped the entire line, and it was wonderful. As we do not use the dining plan, not offering DDP credits is not a large loss for us.

  6. Great news! Now that all restaurants are added I hope we’ll see some other enhancements like being able to order and use DDP credits. That’s the part I’m looking forward to!
