When are Joy and Sadness coming to Disney World?
One of the more common questions I receive since I posted the rumor in November that Joy and Sadness are coming to Walt Disney World is "When are they coming?" Well, I have an answer for you now.
Joy and Sadness should be coming to Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park for meet and greets in February 2016. Expect them to appear in the expanded Character Spot in Innoventions West near Baymax. Disney should formally announce this news very soon.

Do we have anymore news about the time frame they will be coming? It's halfway through February and still no word yet...
The regular character spot is open during evening EMH. Will the "expansion" be open also?

Seriously, you just made my night. My kids will be thrilled!! We are headed end of March and I'm expecting we are going to miss the opening of the new Frozen ride. This surprise will help!!

Do you think they will be permanent meet and greets?
Nothing is permanent in Disney. Should be here at least until Soarin' reopens this summer. If popular, could be longer. We'll have to wait and see.

I thought the Character Spot was a Fast Pass choice. Has that changed?
Meet Mickey, Minnie and Goofy does have FP. they made it really confusing by "extending" Character Spot into Innoventions. Basically added Baymax to old Velcro game area. No FP for Baymax and won't be one for Inside Out
