Annual Passholder to be offered additional days for previews

I was one of many passholders who experienced a great deal of trouble in trying to secure a spot for the Annual Passholder previews for New Fantasyland.  I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity for the experience that I desired, but others were shut out and frustrated with the entire experience.  In order to offer more Annual Passholders an opportunity to preview this terrific new land, Disney is offering additional passholders the chance to sign up for previews.  I say a big “KUDOS” to Walt Disney World for attempting to make something right after a major dissappointment.

I received the following email this morning:

Kenneth,

We are aware that you may have experienced challenges while trying to sign up for a New Fantasyland preview earlier this week. We understand how precious your time is and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

The demand for New Fantasyland has exceeded even our expectations and we are working quickly to create additional preview opportunities. We expect to be able to provide more details by the middle of next week via email, as well as at www.disneyworld.com/passholder and on our Disney World Passholders Facebook page.

We value the special relationship we have with you as a Passholder and want to assure you that we are committed to making every experience you have with us the best it can possibly be.

  1. I got in too Kenny. But only because some one had posted a direct link to the sign ups. If not for that I may have been locked out too. They really need to upgrade the Passholder site and to be honest the site in general. If you don’t mind me asking what date and time did you get? I got Nov 10th at 5pm.

  2. That’s great, except we didn’t even get this email. :( since we upgraded last month to the premier pass, we haven’t gotten emails. I was able to get into the site just fine, but it didn’t recognize my pass. So i judt sat there, staring at the screen, hoping it would change. It seems like a lot of premier passholders had this issue, and who knows if they’ll fix that.
