What to Know About the Latest Disney World Dining Reservation Change — Credit: Donna

It is important to note that the posted park times may not be the actual park times. Guests staying at Disney World Resorts can enter all four theme parks 30 minutes earlier than the official park opening.

First introduced in 2021, Early Theme Park Entry allows guests staying at Walt Disney World Resorts to enter all 4 Theme Parks 30 minutes early. Originally, all other guests were held at the park entrance.

Early Entry has changed a bit over the years. One of the most notable changes was the removal of the rope that held guests at key locations.

Exteded Evening Hours

Along with Early Entry, Guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts can experience the parks at night after everyone else has left. This is one of the many great benefits of staying at these high-tier resorts.

Typically, Epcot hosts Extended Evening Hours on Monday, and Magic Kingdom hosts Extended Evening Hours on Wednesday.

This has been the case for the last few years, with a few exceptions.

New Disney Resort Added

Disney Vacation Club is in the process of building its newest resort hotel, Disney's Lakeshore Lodge. Disney announced that this new resort would open on July 1, 2027!

Disney has now confirmed that when Disney's Lakeshore Lodge opens, it will offer Guests both Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours.
