Disney Just Dropped New Grand Floridian Dining Reservations
See why you NEED to book these new dining reservations for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
Grand Floridian Refurbishment
The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is Disney's flagship resort. It is also one of the nicest and most elegant resorts on the property.
However, the Grand Floridian has been in a state of refurbishment for the last several years, affecting many of its special amenities.
The Grand Floridian lobby received a major refurbishment. After much work, the Garden View Lounge finally reopened this spring.
Grand Floridian Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe closed on July 20, 2026, for a lengthy refurbishment that would last through October. During this closure, Citricos offered a brunch service during the refurbishment from 7:30 am until 2:00 pm. You can view the current brunch menu HERE.
Back in September, we shared that dinner reservations were available to book at the Grand Floridian Cafe starting on November 2, 2026. At that time, breakfast and lunch reservations were still unavailable.
Now, both breakfast and lunch reservations are available for Grand Floridian Cafe starting November 2, 2026.
Disney's Grand Floridian Christmas
This is perfect timing for Guests hoping to enjoy Disney's Grand Floridian at Christmas. As a reminder, Disney recently placed tighter restrictions for Guests using Disney Transportation to enjoy Disney Resorts.
"Bus service from Disney Springs to Disney Resort hotels is available for Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or visiting one with a valid dining or experience reservation. Guests may be asked to show a valid Resort hotel room key, dining reservation, or experience reservation. "
Dining reservations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are now open for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
While the large, beautiful gingerbread house will be missing from Disney's Grand Floridian this year, Disney will reportedly replace the Gingerbread house with miniature gingerbread displays throughout the Resort.
If you are not staying at Disney's Grand Floridian, a dining reservation is a great way to secure free Disney Springs transportation (if you are no already staying at a Disney Resort) or if you plan to drive to Disney's Grand Floridian.
