Surprise, Disney Transportation Just Got an Upgrade
After several negative reports of Disney bus transportation, there is a new upgrade that you will not want to miss.

There are many differing opinions on transportation options, largely depending upon which Disney Resort you are staying at and also which Park you will be visiting. The Walt Disney World Resort is HUGE and many questions revolve around which is the quickest mode of transportation to arrive at each Park.
From the Skyliner, buses, ferry boats, and of course the monorail there are many options for Resort Guests to arrive at each of the Walt Disney World Parks. Choosing the fastest and most efficient form of transportation is key to a peaceful visit. You can see a full review of each form of Disney transportation HERE.
While we have reported negative changes to Disney's free transportation, particularly at Disney Springs, we excitedly share a positive transportation change.
Bus Transportation Change
Back in December 2025, we shared that a great new project was underway at Disney's Animal Kingdom. This time, the work is located outside of the park.
It appeared that several new covered bus stops are coming soon. Disney has not shared information about this new addition.
After months of monitoring the construction, this new bus transportation structure is now open to Guests.
New Animal Kingdom Bus Transportation
The newly opened bus stops currently are for Pop Century, Art of Animation, Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. It is important to note that Disney can change the bus stop destinations at any time.
New covered bus stops are now open at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Bus transportation for Theme Parks does not open until 10:00 am each day when traveling from one Theme Park to the next.
