Walt Disney World issues many warnings throughout the year to help keep Guests and Cast Members safe.

With a Theme Park located in Central Florida, most often the warnings we think of first are in regards to hurricanes and tropical storms.

Over the past several months, we have shared warnings for high winds, fire bansfilming locations throughout the Disney Parks, attraction closures, cold weather warnings, and even the dreaded refurbishment of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World offers many storm shelters when needed. For example, when there is a threat of severe thunderstorms, the Hall of Presidents, located in Magic Kingdom, will no longer run the pre-programmed show. Instead, this building is open to guests to seek shelter from the storm.
