Hollywood Studios Attraction Now Removed

In the wise words of Walt Disney, the Disney Parks will continue to be reimagined as long as there is imagination left in the world. However, the current state of Disney's Hollywood Studios does not match the initial concept for this 3rd Theme Park at Walt Disney World.

With the removal of The Great Movie Ride, The Studio Backlot Tour, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure, to name a few classics, the original idea of MGM Studios serving as a window into "Old Hollywood" has changed.

The demolition of Muppet Courtyard makes way for Monsters, Inc.-themed area known as "Monstropolis".

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Closed

Walt Disney World confirmed a Muppets re-theme of the popular attraction. For this big change from Aerosmith to the Muppets, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will officially close on March 2, 2026.

This meant that yesterday, March 1, 2026, was the final day to enjoy this attraction. As suspected, large crowds flocked to this attraction to enjoy one final ride.

At times, the wait times were over 2 hours. Guests experienced high wait times at other attractions as well due to the large crowds in the Park.

My Disney Experience Changes

Walt Disney World wasted no time in removing Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith from the My Disney Experience app. Seemingly, after the final Guests exited this attraction, this attraction disappeared.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith is now removed from the My Disney Experience app.

Now the attraction building remains on the My Disney Experience app, but the iconic guitar and stretch limo at the entrance have been removed. They physical park map shows the change, "Future Home of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring The Muppets."
