You Will Notice This Change On Your Next Visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios
There is a change that you are sure to notice on your next visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Find out what it is, and why we LOVE it!
Construction at Disney's Hollywood Studios

As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney World. Some of the changes are harder than others for Disney fans.
In the picture above you can see that Animation Courtyard is now closed. This area closed permanently on September 25, 2025. This impacted both Star Wars Launch Bay and the theater that has been host to Disney Jr Play and Dance.
Due to the many construction walls, maneuvering through this area of Disney's Hollywood Studios can be a bit challenging.
New Ramp and Traffic Pattern!

On our most recent visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios, we noticed a new walkway and traffic pattern. An additional ramp has been installed near The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure helping ease foot traffic through this area.

The ramps near The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure are now one-way only.

There is signage near the ramps instructing Guests that the ramps are one-way only. Cast Members are also stationed at each ramp entrance to help ensure Guest follow the signage.
Why We Love It!

This was already a very busy and congested area at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once Disney added the construction walls this space became even more of a headache to travel through.
The one-way ramps allow for smooth, continuous Guest movement through this area - and we LOVE it!
The one-way ramps are making a big difference helping to reduce congestion in this very busy area!
