Many runners love heading to magical destinations for a race weekend. And now Dollywood is getting in on the action!
America's favorite theme park is set to host its inaugural Run Dollywood Race Weekend! Dollywood will make for the perfect venue for a race!
According to Dollywood, "There's no race like one inside Dollywood. Set in the heart of the Smokies, Dollywood brings together world-class entertainment, Southern hospitality, and unforgettable park experiences. Combine that with the excitement of race weekend, and you've got a one-of-a-kind running adventure."
What Races Will Dollywood Offer
Dollywood is set to offer multiple races during its inaugural race weekend. There is something for everyone, including the kids!
There will be 4 different races. These include a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and a kids' one-mile race!
The 5K, 10K, and Kid's Run will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. The Half-Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 26, 202,6 at 7:30 a.m.
What is Included
According to Dollywood, the race weekend includes live music and on-course entertainment throughout Dollywood. There will also be post-race food, refreshments, and awards! Participants will receive a bib, shirt, and medal as well as on-course support.
The top three male and female finishers in each race will be recognized. Age group awards for the Half Marathon will also be given.
Dollywood Race Weekend is happening in April!
There will also be an expo on Friday, April 24th, which is required for pick-up! It will stay open until 7:00 PM.
