Disney Makes Another Change To Early Entry Impacting Guests This Week

Disney has made many changes over the years to the perks offered for Disney Resort Guests. One of the more popular changes is that of Early Theme Park Entry.
First introduced in 2021, Early Theme Park Entry allows guests staying at Walt Disney World Resorts to enter all 4 Theme Parks 30 minutes early. This amazing perk also became available at Disneyland.
Utilizing Early Entry can be a big advantage on getting headline attractions done with minimal waits. Unfortunately, Disneyland is taking away this perk next year. Check out what they are offering to Resort Guests instead HERE.
Changes to Early Entry This Week
Typically at Disneyland Resort Early Entry is offered at Disneyland Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Early Entry is typically offered at Disney California Adventure Park on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays, and Sundays.
Disneyland has changed which park will offer Early Entry later this week due to the runDisney Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend.
Because of the runDisney race weekend. Early Entry will now be offered at Disneyland Park on Friday, September 5th versus Disney California Adventure Park. On Saturday, September 6th, Early Entry will now be offered at Disney California Adventure Park versus Disneyland Park. The normal schedule will resume after the runDisney weekend.

runDisney races in Disneyland only have two more race weekends before races in Disneyland go on a hiatus. The two race weekends remaining are the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend and the runDisney Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend.
"Due to upcoming construction impacts, runDisney races at the Disneyland Resort will be placed on hiatus in 2026 after the conclusion of the 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend presented by HONDA. We will continue to offer races at Walt Disney World Resort, as well as virtual offerings."
The upcoming Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend runs from September 4th-7th. The final race weekend before the hiatus, the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, runs from January 29 - February 1st. You can read more about this hiatus HERE.
