First Look At Magic Kingdom's Beak and Barrel

The demand for the Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge, Beak and Barrel, literally broke the Walt Disney World website. Check out our first look at this iconic lounge.

The Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge will be called The Beak and Barrel and will be open to pirates both big and small. All are welcome to raise a toast to the pirate life. Guests visiting this lounge will find a "sea-worthy selection of grogs and grub.

There will be different themed rooms featured in this space, along with a fun character, Rummy, serving as the tavern's quartermaster.

You can see the entire adventurous menu HERE. When reservations first opened last week, guests were met with frustration when a technical glitch caused the entire dining reservation system to close for several hours.

Disney attempted to make changes to the Advanced Dining Reservation system; the most notable change hit the My Disney Experience app yesterday. Disney also pushed back the opening date for Advanced Dining Reservations several times.

One big change was that the dining window opened at 7:00 pm (ET) rather than 7:00 am (ET) for all other Advanced Dining Reservations. A virtual waiting room was also in place for Buccaneers hoping to gain access to this new lounge.

Today, August 21, 2025, there are no dining reservations available for Beak and Barrel through October 20, 2025. The demand is high for this lounge and we hope this space delivers an amazing, immersive experience for guests.

The construction walls are removed from Beak and Barrel, and now we have our first look at this unique space. We love the fun theming of a treasure map along with Rummy the parrot. We even see a "Hidden Rummy" in the "B" for Beak and Barrel.

This is our first look at the overhang signage for this new lounge. We can't wait to see even more theming for this space very soon!

  1. I was on line at 7 pm sharp and then I was cued for reservation date I was on the cue for over TWO HOURS and nothing!!! Times popped up thru the middle of OCTOBER and dates and times were shown BUT every time I chose it said not AVAILABLE this is BS. You always cater to the TOURISTS in the resorts to get first choices every time for every event WHST ABOUT YOUR PASSHOLDERS LIVING HERE IN FLORIDA WHO RENEW THEIR PASSES YEAR and we get screwed and left out! These openings should be posted and the reservations should be open to everyone at the same time and if you get the reservation you are looking for the. Congratulations BUT if you didn’t then so be it that the only fair way to do it PASSHOLDERS ARE SCREW ALWAYS OH EXCUSE ME WE GET THE GLORIOUS DAM MAGNET!!!!!!
You do not appreciate the PASSHOLDERS especially here in Florida and this is getting old and disgusting

  2. We are overspending and going to MNSSHP in October and had to get a reservation for this pub. We were successful and I am planning on getting the souvinir mug drink. Might as well over spend a little more!

    1. The Disney struggle is real! I hope you have a great experience at the Beak and Barrel during your upcoming trip.
