Recreation Activity Closed at This Disney Deluxe Resort
Guests were left disappointed to find that a recreational activity was closed without warning. However, there is some good news
Arcades

Each Walt Disney World resort hotel has an arcade where Guests can enjoy playing fun video games and other activities such as air hockey.
Guests must first purchase a Game Card and add points at a kiosk inside the arcade.
The Game Cards are rechargeable and can be used at other Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
Unexpected Closure

Last night, Guests staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa were surprised to find that Arcadia Games, the hotel's arcade game room, was closed without notice. There was a posted sign outside of both entrances informing Guests of the closure.

The sign outside Arcadia Games states, "Pardon our pixie dust, Arcadia Games is closed for refurbishment. Please enjoy our other recreational activities at this time."

The arcade game room was completely emptied! Take a look at the picture above. No arcade games in sight. When Cast Members were asked how long the closure would last, they were unsure of when Arcadia Games would reopen.
Good News!

Early this morning, we noticed that the closure signs were still present, but they were pushed off to the side. The room was now filled back up with games!
Arcade games were back in Arcadia Games!
One door to access the game room was locked; however, the other entrance was open. Several Cast Members were in Aracadia Games, and it appeared they were finishing up the room for Guests to once again enjoy the arcade!
