Disney World Shares Funny New Costume Rule

Wearing a costume at Walt Disney World is an extra dose of magic. Disney just added a new costume rule, and we are left wondering why this needed to be addressed.

If you have ever been to Disney, it may seem that they have a lot of rules or guidelines for Guests to follow. These rules help ensure that everyone stays safe and also has a good experience.

These rules can range from what is allowed into the park and even what Guests can wear. While "Disney Bounding" is allowed, guests (ages 14 and older) can only wear costumes on select occasions.

Disney allows costumes (with strict guidelines) for special ticketed events such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and Disney Jollywood Nights. Costumes are also allowed for runDisney events held at Walt Disney World and Disneyland (soon to be on hiatus).

Yesterday, we shared the adorable theming for the runDisney Springtime Surprise weekend featuring "Disney Besties". Check out the full lineup of our favorite Disney pals HERE.

One of our favorite "Disney Besties" featured is Winnie the Pooh and Tigger for the 10K. What has many Disney fans laughing is the costume clarification for this race.

Disney shares, "If bounding as Pooh, please wear pants." We hope this didn't really NEED to be said, but it is a pretty funny addition all the same.
