Mickey Mouse Beignets Just Changed and We Aren't Ok

Some people say their favorite thing about Walt Disney World is the rides. But for some people, it's the food. My (Donna) husband loves to make a touring plan of his favorite snack spots throughout Walt Disney World.
While not all Disney food is great, some of it is truly magical! There are some bites that are so good you might be tempted to book a return trip just to savor them all over again!
Some snacks require a Theme Park ticket, while many delicious meals and snacks are located throughout the Walt Disney World Resorts.
Scat Cat Menu Changes
Although Magic Kingdom offers beignets, they do not even compare to those offered at Port Orleans- French Quarter. Guests at Walt Disney World don't hesitate to make the special trip over to the French Quarter for these fluffy, fried favorites!
Recently, the menu has changed a bit. First up are the dipping sauces. Previously, guests could choose among salted caramel, chocolate ganache, and strawberry. Quite a few Disney guests were sad to see the disappearance of the strawberry dipping sauce.
For guests who want to enjoy a "Baton Rouge Beignet," these now only feature Bailey's Original Irish Cream liquor. Previously, guests could choose among Bailey's Irish Cream, Kailua, or RumChata. There is also a price increase for these. Previously, these were priced at $11.99 for 2 beignets. This price is now increased to $12.99.

Unfortunately, that is not the only price increase at Scat Cat Cafe. The price was $6.99 for 3 beignets, which then increased to $7.49. Now, 3 Mickey-shaped Beignets cost $7.99.

The cost of 6 Mickey-shaped Beignets is now priced at $12.99 instead of the previous $10.99. A Mickey Mouse Beignet sundae was previously priced at $8.79; this now costs $9.99.
The drink menu also has price increases. A cappuccino formerly priced at $4.29 is now priced at $5.59. Cafe' au Lait is now $5.99, which was previously priced at $4.79. Joffrey's Chickory Coffee once cost $3.99, but now this is priced at $4.79. These increases may appear small, but when multiplied by a family, they will add up.
