Figment is a beloved purple dragon who was created just for EPCOT, one of Walt Disney World’s four parks. The beloved dragon was first popularized when he got his very own ride: Journey into Imagination.

The ride has gone through 2 major changes, but one thing remains the same. People still love Figment despite the fact that he has no major motion picture or any sort of official presence outside of EPCOT.

He is something that is unique to Walt Disney World, and perhaps that is why he brings about so much nostalgia for people. You just can’t get him anywhere else.
