This is the update that Disney has needed for so long! Check out how this update will make it even easier to book your favorite dining locations.
My Disney Experience App

It is hard to visit Walt Disney World without using Disney’s app. After all, it has everything you need to enjoy a magical vacation!
You can make dining reservations, place mobile orders, skip the merchandise line with mobile checkout, and even book your next attraction Lightning Lane time.
Like all apps, it receives regular updates to improve the overall guest experience. Earlier, we shared that Disney was working on a new update that would help streamline booking dining reservations. This update is now available for Walt Disney World. Let’s take a look to see what this looks like.
How to score hard-to-get Disney Dining

Disney will use a similar calendar as used to make Theme Park reservations to allow guests to check dining availability over multiple days.
Dates with green dots now show dining availability, while gray dots show unavailable options. This will be great to look at dates weeks at a time.
Previously, only select times were listed for each dining location. With this new update, a wider range of times will be featured at the top. You can choose the best time for your family and then see which dining reservations are available.

In the photo featured above, I searched for Cinderella’s Royal Table, and it shows dates with available openings. When I selected July 4th, it showed the available reservation times of 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm.
New Disney Dining update now available on the My Dining Experience app.
This is particularly helpful for guests hoping to book the harder to get dining reservations, such as Cinderella’s Royal Table, EPCOT’s new adult-only GEO–82 Lounge, and my (Donna) favorite Topolinos.
