Missing Disney Magic Returns to Hollywood Studios

Missing Disney Magic Returns to Hollywood Studios

After missing for several months, we are happy to see one of our favorite Disney characters return.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios allows guests to step into the magic of Hollywood with amazing attractions, the immersive Toy Story Land, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The Disney Parks are beautiful during the day, but truly become magical at night. In particular, Disney’s Hollywood Studios boasts full Hollywood glam as the neon lights illuminate Hollywood Boulevard.

Since Walt Disney World never closes, much refurbishment work must be completed while guests visit. For several months, a refurbishment removed one iconic character from Hollywood Boulevard.

Located in Florida, Walt Disney World does much preparation when hurricanes and tropical storms threaten to hit the “Most Magical Place on Earth”. Last October, when Florida prepared for Hurricane Milton, we noticed that a key character was removed from Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The adorable neon Pluto with the wagging tail was removed from the rooftops of Hollywood Boulevard. At first, we thought this removal may have been due to preparation for the hurricane, but Pluto has been missing ever since October.

Yesterday, June 21st, we spotted Pluto’s return. We aren’t sure if this was a planned refurbishment or not, but we are glad to see him return, welcoming guests back in the park.

This summer is pretty magical at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with ” Cool Kid Summer”. Join great characters at Get Animated, watch great outdoor performers, and you may even spot characters as you enjoy crafts and games at the Animation Courtyard.

There are also 2 brand new shows debuting this summer: “Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After” and “The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
