Many Disney Park guests would rather spend less time on their devices and more time soaking in the magic of Disney. Disney just returned our favorite planning tool that has been missing since 2020.
Disney Experience App

We have shared many updates to the My Disney Experience apps for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. This app is invaluable while visiting Disney Parks, from booking your next Lightning Lane Multi-Pass selection to even locating your car after a long day in the parks.
Guests can also avoid waiting in line to place a food order using the Mobile Order feature on the My Disney Experience app.
Disney continues to offer updates to mobile ordering to make it even more user-friendly, but even with these updates many guests would prefer to disconnect from their phones.
“Experience Guide” Return

Finally, it feels as though Disney has listened to our cries for less time on our phones while in the Disney Parks. Before the Disney Parks closed in 2020, each Walt Disney World Park offered a paper “Times Guide” for guests.
The “Times Guide” has now returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but it is now titled “Experience Guide.” This handy guide includes entertainment showtimes, meeting times for characters, and additional entertainment offerings.
Many things were removed when the Disney Parks reopened and we are thankful to see this fun, planning tool has finally returned.
Disney Planning Reminders

At this time, the “Experience Guide” is only available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We hope to see these return to the other Disney Parks as well.
The “Experience Guide” is now available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The “Experience Guide” offers updated times and locations, but keep in mind that Disney can make changes to these experiences throughout the day. The “Experience Guide” is located at the park entrance along with maps of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
