Star Wars fans will soon be able to get a new Legacy LIGHTSABER Hilt. We have all the details on this limited-edition item!

Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland has opened, there have been 32 Legacy LIGHTSABER hilts. These hilts are inspired by our favorite Star Wars characters.
Cody Hampton, senior manager of merchandising at Disney Consumer Products, is a lifelong Star Wars fan. He stated, “The team has always worked hard to bring unexpected, unique, in-story merchandise to our guests. I have been a fan of the ‘elegant weapons’ that are Lightsabers my entire life and being a part of the opening team of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was a dream come true.”
His team has also created a checklist of all the Legacy LIGHTSABER hilts, which includes the limited edition sets and box sets that have been released to date. You can get the checklist HERE.
New Legacy LIGHTSABER Hilt
The newest Legacy LIGHTSABER hilt will be arriving just in time for the 5th anniversary of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland. ‘Hilt of a Jedi’ Ki-Adi-Mundi Legacy LIGHTSABER Hilt collectible box set is inspired by Ki-Adi-Mundi.
This Legacy LIGHTSABER comes in a collectible wooden box that includes:
- A special Disney Parks exclusive edition of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge #1 featuring the Cerean Jedi Master himself, as drawn by Star Wars artists Chris Sprouse (pencils), Karl Story (inks), and Rachelle Rosenberg (colors).
- An individually numbered insert card featuring a quote inspired by Dok-Ondar, and the official Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge 5th anniversary logo.
You can even attach a Legacy LIGHTSABER blade to the hilt, and the blade will illuminate the signature blue color of Ki-Adi-Mundi. It is important to note that the blade is sold separately.
With only 6,000 units worldwide, this is sure to be a hot item for Star Wars fans.
