Advanced Reservations

Advanced Dining Reservations are available for restaurants, special experiences, and dessert parties. These can be booked 60 days ahead of your arrival.

Disney just recently made it even easier to make Advanced Dining Reservations. Be sure to check out this change HERE.

For most reservations, a credit card is required and will only be charged if you fail to cancel your reservation in advance. Select experiences require full payment at the time of the reservation and it appears that more experiences now require this.

Reservation Changes

A Kenny the Pirate Crew Member shared what seems to be a new change when booking a reservation for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World. Guests can enjoy great immersive experiences at the Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop.

Previously, Savi’s Workshop and the Droid Depot required only a credit card on file when making a reservation. Now at Walt Disney World, full payment is required when the reservation is made.

At this time, Disneyland does not require payment at the time of booking. Guests can still use a credit card guarantee to make their reservations.

Cancelation Policy

Now with this new change, we were curious what the cancelation policy would look like. Disney states, “There is a 24-hour cancelation policy. Full price will be charged if the Guest cancels within one day or fails to show up for the reservation.”

This is an interesting change for Walt Disney World. It will be interesting to see if this change also comes to Disneyland.
