If you are heading to the Magic Kingdom today, you might want to see this warning. Guests have not seen this happen in two years!
Park Hopping
Park Hopping is a popular add-on feature among Guests traveling to Walt Disney World and Disneyland. For an additional cost, Guests can add it to their single or multi-day tickets. While base admission allows ticket holders to visit a single park, Park Hopper tickets gives them the ability to hop from one park to another throughout the day.
We have seen a lot of changes with park hopping. After park hopping resumed after the pandemic, it did have limitations. Guests had to wait until 2 p.m. to park hop at Walt Disney World or 1 p.m. over at Disneyland.
Limitations on park hopping can really put a cramp in your plans!
All Day Park Hopping Resumes
All day park hopping has finally resumed at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. If you want to hop over to another park, there is no longer any limitation for most guests.
However, if you are an Annual Passholder, there are still some limitations when it comes to park reservations and park hopping.
Annual Passholders can take advantage of V.I.Passholder Days. If you are an Annual Passholder, you will want to check out when more of these days will be coming!
Warning to Guests
If you are planning to park hop to the Magic Kingdom today, be sure to check My Disney Experience for any updates. Today, the park hopper option at the Magic Kingdom is currently unavailable!
Currently, park hopping is not available at the Magic Kingdom on April 4, 2024.
We have not seen this happen since 2022! Guests with park reservations may still enter. Keep in mind that park hopping can resume at any point during the day, so be sure to continue checking the app if you are hoping to hop over.
