Sadly, 2024 is already off to a tragic start at the Disneyland Resort. One woman is dead and others are injured after two serious accidents.
Accidents at Disneyland
We are less than a week into 2024, and already tragedy has struck the Disneyland Resort. The accidents occurred last night, January 5, 2024 when a driver was involved in two separate hit-and-run incidents.
According to the OC Register, Anaheim police received multiple calls. The first reported a hit-and-run crash along Harbor Boulevard just south of Katella Avenue. Three pedestrians were hit. Their current conditions are not known.
Then, a second call came from Harbor at Convention Way where a woman was fatally injured. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.
Four pedestrians were struck last night by the same driver.

In between these two incidents, police believe the driver of the car was also involved in a minor crash involving an OCTA bus. He was believed to be in a gold Toyota sedan, possibly a Camry or Corolla.
We are praying for these people’s families and friends as they deal with this tragic death of their loved ones. We are also thinking of those who may have witnessed the incident as they navigate this experience during their day at Disneyland.
This area is quite busy as many offsite hotels are located in this area. There are also several restaurants and retail locations. Plus, it is just steps away from the Anaheim Convention Center.
Police are still searching for the suspect.

I think the title of the article is very misleading, suggesting these accidents happened at Disneyland. However, my thoughts are with the victims of these tragic accidents and their families.

I'm actually surprised to read this headline from KTP. This is not a situation that occurred in Disneyland. It's not like KTP to have clickbait. That's an ITM move. However, this is a very tragic event and prayers for all of those involved
