Several Disney Shows Make Their Triumphant Return in 2024

Disney is home to so many incredible shows, parades, and nighttime spectaculars. Several are returning in 2024, and we have all the details so you can plan your trip!

Mickey’s Mix Magic

The first show that will return is Mickey’s Mix Magic. This high-energy show features Mickey and Minnie Mouse with magical songs, kaleidoscope projections, and more.

On select nights (typically the weekend), fireworks will join the show as it performs against Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, and the facade of “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Park.

In 2024, it will run from January 8 to March 21 and April 15 to 25, 2024.

Magic Happens

Magic Happens in a daytime parade at Disneyland Park. It debuted in February 2020 for a few weeks until the historic park closure in March. It remained unavailable until February 2023 when it finally returned!

This parade celebrates awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories. Featuring stunning floats, beautiful costumes, and beloved Disney characters, this show is a favorite for those who have seen it. You can read more about it HERE.

The show paused in mid-October to make way for the seasonal parade. It will return on February 2, 2024! The show typically happens twice per day – at 3:30 and 6:30 usually. Be sure to get your spot 45-60 minutes before it starts!

Magic Happens returns February 2, 2024.

Wondrous Journeys

Wondrous Journeys featured every film release by Walt Disney World Animation Studios including the newest film, Wish! The nighttime show debuted on January 27, 2023 for the start of Disney’s 100th celebration.

The show has 18 different Disney songs! Guests can even watch Baymax take flight! This is one of my favorite nighttime spectaculars that I have seen at any Disney park. It was fantastic!

Unfortunately, it ended in August to make way for the seasonal nighttime show. But, it will offer a limited spring run March 22 to April 14, 2024 with fireworks.

Wondrous Journeys will have a limited spring run March 22 to April 14, 2024.

Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular

Also at Disneyland Park, Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular runs from April 26 to August 4, 2024. This show is about friendship and incorporates several of our favorite Pixar movies like Toy Story and Monsters, Inc.
