Santa’s Favorite Resort
Each holiday season, Santa picks his favorite Disney World Resort to celebrate with his elves and guests. And this year, he’s chosen the Swan and Dolphin Resorts located on Crescent Lake near EPCOT.
Not only does Santa visit, but he brings Mrs. Claus, a merry elf and all the fun! And what makes this even better is that it’s free to everyone! Even if you’re staying offsite, the Swan and Dolphin welcome your visit for this festive event.
This event takes place on the following evenings: December 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, and 23. To join the fun, go to the Swan’s pool area from 6-8pm. Note that it may be cancelled for inclement weather. Check out all of the fun activities to experience during the Santa’s Favorite Resort event.

Jolly Returning Experiences
Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elf Kandy Kane are ready to meet guests in their tropical attire. After all, they are on vacation from the North Pole! You’ll find these characters in Tiki hut decorated just for Santa. This holiday area features palm trees, reindeer, flamingos, and lots of holiday spirit!

During the holidays, the walkway to the Dolphin Resort puts on a magical nighttime light show, filled with holiday music and amazing displays. This fabulous light show takes place intermittently from sunset until 10pm.
And the Swan Resort’s life size holiday chocolate display is not to be missed! Made entirely of chocolate, this wonderful display features Santa sitting in his chair and a 7-foot, 400-pound chocolate nutcracker! You’ll find this display in the Swan’s lobby.
There’s even a way for Santa to deliver presents to each guest room. On December 24, pick up a Magic key at the concierge desk to participate.
New Elf Activities
This year, there is a new area where Santa’s elves are getting everything ready for Christmas at the toy workshop and bakery. You’ll even get to decorate a cookie to enjoy for free! In addition, the toy workshop offers crafts and toys that you can buy.

Another new elf experience is the Tales from the North Pole. Happening twice nightly, the elves treat guests to milk and cookies while they read the classic tale, “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” You will also receive your own book to take home. Note that this is a paid add-on.
