Wish is a brand new movie that is coming soon! We already have a character meet and greet for Asha, and now Disney will also celebrate with a new show at Epcot.
Wish Movie
At its center of Disney’s newest film is a girl called Asha. Desperate to save her home, she turns to the stars themselves. When she makes a wish, a cosmic force named “Star” comes to help her. The duo faces off against what is promised to be a formidable villain!
The movie features the voices of Academy Award®-winning actor Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino. In addition, the film is helmed by Oscar®-winning director Chris Buck (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Fawn Veerasunthorn (“Raya and the Last Dragon”).
Produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Frozen,” “Frozen 2”) and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones (“Encanto”), this film is sure to be a hit. Wish will hit theaters on November 22, 2023.
New Show
Ahead of the film’s release, Disney has already introduced the world to Asha with a new meet and greet! You can find her at Epcot – see her schedule in this post.
Starting November 22, Spaceship Earth will illuminate the park with a new show! Special colors and lights dance along to the new song, “I’m a Star”.
There is no word on how long this show will last. Last year, there was a special Spaceship Earth show for Festival of the Holidays. I doubt that will happen this year; Disney will likely have the Wish show for at least several weeks.
