These days, Epcot almost always has a festival happening. They are a fantastic way to keep things fresh and exciting in the park. Disney World just announced the next festival!
Epcot Festivals
Epcot offers many wonderful experiences for people of all ages to enjoy. Aside from the permanent attractions and World Showcase pavilions, Epcot is home to four festivals that take place throughout the year.
Festival of the Arts celebrates everything art and runs in January and February. Flower and Garden Festival showcases the beauty of our natural world from March to July.
Food and Wine runs from July to November and is the go-to place for foodies. Finally, celebrate the holidays during Festival of the Holidays which runs after Thanksgiving until New Years.
There are so many unique activities to participate in and food and beverage choices to indulge in during these festivals. Since these festivals cover almost the entire year, you are likely to always hit one no matter when you visit.
Festival of the Arts
Festival of the Arts celebrates the visual, culinary, and performing arts. From dozens of food and beverage items to fun photos and a special light show on Spaceship Earth, this festival provides so much fun and entertainment.
Watch artists create art chalk, take in Disney on Broadway at the American Gardens Theater, and marvel in the live performances. It ties with Festival of the Holiday as my (Monica) favorite Epcot Festival.
Disney just announced the festival will return on January 12, 2024. It will likely run through mid/late February, but at this time they have not shared an end date.
We probably won’t hear much else about the festival until late November/December, but this will definitely help as you prepare for your festival trip. We will keep you posted as more details emerge!

Just expect the food to take longer than any other festival.

I worked with Epcots Festivals Team for nearly 2 years. Hands down the best festival for the guests is farts ( Festival of the ARTS) that’s what me and a couple of my friends/ coworkers called it. The food is meticulously plated and some dishes are up to 15 steps to plate. So if it takes a little extra time to get your food, don’t get angry. Appreciate the detail those culinary cast members are putting into playing the dish. For instance 2 years ago in the America kiosk was the scallop dish. It was literally 12-15 steps to plate. And guests or “entitled” guests would get mad because it’s taking so long. If you want slop on a plate, go to food and wine, if you want to truly behold the magic that those cast members are capable of making go to Farts.

Been to all the other festivals a few times. Going to the Festival of the Arts for the first time this year.
